Leadwood Lodge Accommodation
Leadwood Lodge is to be found set against a well wooded bank of the Sand River, and is shaded by jackalberry and leadwood trees. It is on the confluence of the Sand and Mabrak Rivers.
With only 4 suites, spaced some distance apart, this Lodge offers both solitude and serenity. It is also ideal as an exclusive-use getaway for a groups of friends, or family groups. Accommodation is air-conditioned, and each unit has a plunge pool, with private deck. The suites have been built using crushed stone, cement, dark meranti, granite and glass, with the soft furnishings providing a contrast. Each suite also boasts a fire-place, and sitting room.
The lounge and dining areas are elevated – allowing for dramatic views. Delicious meals are shared on the open deck, or in the Boma (open-air dining area) around a fire, or in the bush.
Knowledgeable rangers and trackers take you on fascinating game drives (in the morning, and again in the afternoon/ evening). Here you will get the chance to explore the area, and see some of the wildlife for which it is justly famous. You might also enjoy a guided bush walk, an excellent way of learning more about the local flora and fauna.
