Day 1: Cape Town

Upon arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to The Table Bay Hotel, V&A Waterfront.

The Table Bay Hotel is a five star property, overlooking Table Bay, and with excellent views of Table Mountain. It is close to the city centre and a perfect base to explore Cape Town and its many attractions.

Day 3: Stellenbosch

Today you will be transferred to the River Manor Country House in the nearby town of Stellenbosch.

The River Manor Country House and Spa is set in the picturesque Oak-lined "Avenue" across from the Eerste River in Stellenbosch. This is a small, historical, nestled in the heart of the Cape Wine Country. It was founded in 1679 and is known as a place of gables, oaks and wine.

The two gracious manors of the Country House were built in the early 1900's and are a mere two minutes stroll from the village centre, with its restaurants, street café’s, museum and art galleries

Day 5: Bongani Lodge  

This morning, you will be transferred back to Cape Town International airport for your scheduled flight to the Kruger Mpumalanga International airport at Nelspruit, gateway to the Greater Kruger Park, and the majestic scenery of the lowveld. Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be met by our representative, and transferred to Bongani Mountain Lodge.

Bongani Mountain Lodge is the only lodge is small, private reserve (Mthethomusha Game Reserve), which is adjacent to the southern section of the Kruger National Park. It has breathtaking views, and spectacular scenery.

Bongani is home to some impressive wildlife which can seen during morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers with expert rangers, as this is Big Five country. The evening drives are spot lit and offer insights into the activities of nocturnal animals including the extremely elusive leopard, civet and genet.

Activities include nature walks exploring the wealth of San (Bushman) rock art sites for which the area is famous. Bongani also has a strong cultural tourism program.

Bongani has 20 chalets, nine suites and one Presidential suite. The rooms are spread out across the mountain ridge and surrounded by impressive outcrops of granite. All the chalets and suites have a veranda and en suite bathroom with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Suites are ideal for families with small children as there are sleeper couches in the lounge area.

The attractive guest area encompasses a sitting area, dining room and bar, all opening onto a deck boasting spectacular views of the Lebombo and Malelane mountain ranges. Close by is the secluded swimming pool, lookout deck perfect for bird-watching and the traditional Boma (open-air reed enclosure), where community theatre, good food and good company are enjoyed on fire lit evenings.

Day 7: Timbavati Private Game Reserve

Your adventure continues today with a transfer to Timbavati Private Game Reserve, for your stay at Kings Camp – a highlight of your arrangements.

Kings Camp is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Timbavati, and the lodge has a unique romantic ambience…A place where guests can relax in the Bushveld in fine colonial style.

Here you will experience a gracious style of hospitality, combined with a flexibility that puts the comfort and requests of guests first.

Private safaris under the guidance of a skilled ranger will prove to be an exhilarating experience for bird-watchers and tree enthusiasts as they explore the rarer sights and wonders of the bush. Kings Camp is a game-viewing haven that features elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo.

Camp facilities include a lounge-bar and refreshing swimming pool with a viewing deck overlooking a waterhole and a well equipped gym.

When it comes to mealtimes, true South African cuisine is offered in a homely atmosphere with dinner in the Boma or a bush braai under the canvas of the dazzling African sky, all complemented by an exceptional wine cellar.

Traditional thatched suites (of which there are only 10) are spacious and luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar and en-suite bathroom and outdoor showers, mosquito nets, safes as well as telephones.

This morning you will take a charter flight to OR Tambo International Airport (formerly Johannesburg International), for your onward arrangements.
